Sarath Kumara de Silva is the Chairman of State Engineering Corporation (SEC) in Sri Lanka and Chairman of the Cey-Nor Foundation.
He is one of Sri Lanka’s prominent civil engineers having a career span of 42 years. One of his unique engineering projects were the design of Kalutara Bodhiya.
He attended Nalanda College Colombo, for his primary and secondary education and passed out with a Civil Engineering degree with Honours from University of Peradeniya.
He also holds a post-graduate Diploma in Concrete Technology and M.Sc in Structural Engineering at Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London in Uinited Kingdom.
Sarath Kumara De Silva is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka and also a Senior Certified Valuer.
